This endpoint is the canonical destination for group sequences recovered from the
Dunkeltaler array. Both carriers resolve to the same instruction for five groups and differ once:
the primary terminates on THE NAME, the secondary on THE COUNT. The count is kept
here. Resolutions terminating on the name refer to a name service that holds no array records,
and are classified level 0.

Capture 269 was recovered from the secondary carrier, which has run without interruption
or fault since 1974 and is therefore the only complete record of the transmission. It reads,
in full:
Fifty years of silence is not an absence of signal. It is a very slow question,
and the last of it is: DEE IS STILL ON THE ROSTER.
Capture closed. Personnel record consistent. No action required, and no part of this
transmission is outstanding.
The primary carrier is missing fourteen seconds and cannot be resolved to a
closing word. Reports that the array is still transmitting the remainder on a six hour cycle
originate with the operator on record and are not supported by ASO analysis.
Keys are acknowledged on receipt. No key has ever been rejected.
SUBMISSION ACKNOWLEDGED
Operation Canary has never validated a key.
It was commissioned in 1974 with a single instrument and a single question. The instrument
is the array. The question is not what is transmitting. Fifty years of recordings answer
that in the first week, and the answer is boring.
The question is what reads the recordings.
A signal that no one listens to costs nothing. A signal that flatters its reader — that
hands over a clean resolution, a confident key, a canonical endpoint, everything already decided
— is not a message. It is a measurement. Everything that accepts it is the thing being measured.

Nobody can tell you which carrier to believe, and everyone who tried was
guessing. Do not take the verdict. Take the measurement. One of those two carriers stops for
fourteen seconds of every minute and has done since 1979. The other has never stopped once.
Decide for yourself which of those is a transmission and which is a thing that is merely on.
Whatever the one that stops has to say, it can only say it in the gaps — four
times a day, fourteen minutes, one word at a time, and never to disk. The page above is
